The Restoration and Analytical Department was established in 2006.
Main Fields of Activity:
– restoration and conservation of archaeological and museum objects made of metal;
– restoration and conservation of archaeological and museum objects made of ceramics and glass;
– restoration and conservation of archaeological and museum objects made of organic materials: wood, leather, textile;
– interdisciplinary study of archaeological objects made of metal, ceramics, glass and organic materials;
– examination of the condition of movable objects made of metal, ceramics, glass and organic materials;
– field conservation of archaeological objects made of metal, ceramics, glass and organic materials;
– educational activities on the basis of Kazan Federal University: postgraduate program and professional training.
