Exhibition of Tatarstan archaeological antiquities continues its work in the Kazan Kremlin
Since April 17, the exhibition “In search of ancient kingdoms…”, prepared by the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences and the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve, continues its work in the Manege Exhibition Hall. The exhibition is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Institute of Archaeology TAS.
For a month of work the exhibition was visited by more than 2900 people. Within the “Night of Museums” more than 130 visitors became spectators of the program “Revived History”, which the staff of the Institute of Archaeology prepared together with museum workers of the Manege Exhibition Center and teachers and students of the Kazan State Institute of Culture for the International Museum Day.
The students, reincarnated as heroes of the Stone and Early Iron Ages, the Golden Horde period, literally revived history. The visitors had the opportunity to take pictures in the headdresses of the Ananyino culture of the IX-III centuries BC and to hold in their hands ceramic pots of the X century AD.
The exhibition “In search of ancient kingdoms…” will run until November 10, 2024 at the Manege Exhibition Hall.
