Bugarchev Aleksey Igorevich (April 5, 1961, Kazan) – numismatist, specialist in Juchid numismatics of the 13th-15th centuries.

Aleksey Igorevich has a university education.

In 2012 he started working at the Institute of Archaeology of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences.

He is the author of over 60 scientific articles, including one monograph.

Academic interests: coinage and currency of the Ulus of Jochi and the Golden Horde, Central Asian numismatics of the 10th-15th centuries.

Titles and awards: four medals of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Scientific Grants: Grant of the Russian Foundation for Humanities No.16-11-16015 “Study of the Numismatic Material of the Jochi State with the Use of Interdisciplinary Methods of Archaeotechnology and Archaeological Material Science”.
