International Day For Monuments and Sites

April 18 is the International Day for Monuments and Sites. This day is a holiday for all those who devoted their professional lives to preservation and popularization of the cultural heritage.

On the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan there are numerous and unique objects of historical and cultural heritage, which are the value and pride for multinational people of our republic and Russia as a whole. Today the republic has a unique experience in preservation and use of objects of historical and cultural heritage, that is based on comprehensive study of monuments of ancient and medieval history, their reconstruction and successful integration into the economic system.

Thanks to your professionalism and desire to discover for people the uniqueness of monuments we have an opportunity to touch the history of our land. The enormous work that you put into the preservation of monuments of material culture, the highest competence, consistency, inspire genuine respect.
