Gubaidullina Antonina Viktorovna

Laboratory Associate and Researcher at the Museum of Archaeology of the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences

In 2010, she graduated from the Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Historical Faculty, Department of Archaeology and Ethnology, with a specialty in “History” (2004-2010). She studied at the graduate school of the Sh. Marjani Institute of History from 2010 to 2015, with a specialty in 07.00.06 “Archaeology”.

From 2003 to 2008 Antonina Viktorovna worked at Professional Lyceum No. 4 as an “Industrial Training Master”. Since 2009, she has worked as a Senior Research Associate at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. Since 2017, she has been employed as a Laboratory Assistant at the Museum of Archaeology of the Tatarstan Republic at the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences.

From 2006 to 2010 she took part in the activities of Bilyar Archaeological Expedition at Toretsky ancient village under the supervision of S.I. Valiulina. In 2010, she participated in security research work at Bolgar settlement. From 2015 to 2017 she took part in the activities of Bilyar Archaeological Expedition headed by F.Sh. Khuzin and Z.G. Shakirov.

Academic Interests: archaeology and history of Early Volga Bolgaria, Volga Bolgaria, products made of ornamental stones and organic materials, commerce, and trade routes of Volga Bolgaria.
