The exposition catalog of the Museum of Bolgar Civilization features 10th-15th century study materials of the Bolgar settlement architectural and archaeological site. The diverse collection was obtained over more than one and a half centuries of its study. The site is associated with the town of Bolgar - one of the largest political, economic, cultural and religious centers of the Volga-Urals in the Middle Ages.
The third volume of the catalog includes materials addressing the issues of scientific study, restoration and protection of Bolgar antiquities from the 18th century to the present day. Documents, photographs, maps, layouts and reports of archaeological expeditions reflect the immense amount of work by researchers, which have resulted in large-scale restoration activities, the establishment of Bolgar State Reserve and the inclusion of Bolgar Architectural and Archaeological Complex in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.  The richly illustrated publication is intended for archaeologists, historians and everyoneinterested in the past of our homeland.
