The collection of articles was compiled for the anniversary of the renowned archaeologist and historian, Deputy Director of the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Khalikov of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Fayaz Sharipovich Khuzin. The collection consists of two parts. The first section includes scientific works related to the current issues of medieval archaeology of the Volga-Urals and other issues directly associated with the diverse and broad scientific interests of the anniversary celebrant. The second part was reserved for congratulations and wishes of colleagues, friends and fellow countrymen of F.Sh. Khuzin. The book also includes a list of the main publications by the scientist.
