The collection presents reports by the participants of the 3rd International Congress of Medieval Archaeology of the Eurasian Steppes (Vladivostok, May 2-6, 2017). The reports cover a wide range of issues concerning the study of the history and archaeology of medieval Eurasia states and empires, communications and relations between cultures and civilizations, mass migrations and diffusion of cultural and technological impulses. In terms of geography, the topics of the submitted reports include materials from Bolgaria and the Crimea to the Far East. The chronological framework encompasses the period from the Hunni and the Huns to the ethnographic period. Considerable attention is paid to the natural scientific methods of archaeological studies.
