All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Connection of times and technologies”

On September 29-30, 2023, the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Connection of times and technologies” was held in Veliky Novgorod at the site of “Intelligent Electronics – Valdai” Innovative Scientific and Technological Centre of the Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University.
The conference is attended by Russian and foreign experts, employees of centers and laboratories, representatives of scientific and museum communities, explorer-practitioners in the field of natural and technical sciences from more than ten Russian regions and the Republic of Belarus.
The delegation of the Institute of Archaeology of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences headed by the Doctor of History, Academician of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Ayrat G. Sitdikov presented the results of the interdisciplinary study of cultural heritage sites in Tatarstan. Colleagues were particularly interested in the experience of studying, conservation and museumification of archaeological wood.
The conference discussed interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of preservation and conservation of cultural heritage, using advanced high-tech methods and modern equipment.
