The Institute of Archeology of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences expands cooperation with research centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

From September 11 to 15, 2022, a delegation of the Institute of Archaeology named after A.H. Khalikov of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences visited the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the visit the head and specialists of the Institute of Archaeology met with colleagues from a number of research centers, including the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (MICAI), the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”, the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve and Termez State University. During the meetings the opportunities for implementing joint research projects were discussed and a number of cooperation agreements were signed.

The Institute of Archaeology named afterA.H. Khalikov of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences has signed cooperation agreements with the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve and Termez State University. The subject of the agreements is scientific cooperation and interaction in the sphere of archaeological studies on a wide range of problems of multidisciplinary study of different-time archaeological materials.
