The actual data, summarized for historical periods from the Neolithic to the Late Middle Ages, allowed the author to identify the routes of formation and development of cattle farming activities practiced by the population of the region for seven millennia. The book was prepared as a result of an extensive joint work of archaeologists and osteologists of the region over many years. The publication is intended for archaeologists, historians, ethnographers, biologists, museum workers, students and those interested in history.
